Product Introduction
Bucket Elevator‑Auxiliary Equipment for Raymond Mill
A bucket elevator is conveying equipment that continuously transports materials via traction elements such as belts or chains. It is widely used in complete Raymond mill plants to lift raw grinding materials. This conveyor machinery continuously elevates granular and lump‑shaped bulk materials vertically or at a steep near‑vertical angle. It boasts advantages including simple structure, small footprint, large lifting height, stable operation, low noise and high operating speed. Bucket elevators for flour mills are one of its application types.
Working Principle
Buckets scoop materials from the bottom storage section and move upward together with the belt or chain to the top. After going over the head pulley, the buckets flip down and discharge materials into the receiving chute.
Belt‑driven bucket elevators normally adopt rubber belts mounted on driving pulleys and bend pulleys.
Chain‑driven bucket elevators are fitted with two parallel transmission chains, equipped with one pair of driving sprockets and one pair of bend sprockets at corresponding ends.
Bucket elevators are generally equipped with casings to prevent dust emission during operation.
