GQ High Specific Surface Area Calcium Hydroxide EPC Turnkey Project
This high specific surface area calcium hydroxide production line is jointly developed by Guiqiang Machinery and university postgraduate & doctoral supervisors, and it has been put into industrial mass production. Using calcium oxide as raw material with functional composite additives, the finished powder forms porous and folded structure via special process. Its specific surface area is over 3 times that of ordinary calcium hydroxide, with prominent advantages in gas adsorption, reactivity, fluidity and reaction rate. Catalyst enhancement is available to meet customized desulfurization requirements.
Product Specifications: Ca(OH)₂ (dry basis) ≥85%, specific surface area ≥40㎡/g, fineness ＞325 mesh, moisture content ＜3%.
It can replace sodium bicarbonate in SDS dry desulfurization. No extra grinding mill required, the powder can be injected into flue directly. Its by-products are calcium sulfate and calcium sulfite (general solid waste), recyclable for steel, coking, cement and building material plants. It avoids the difficulty and high cost of hazardous waste disposal brought by sodium-based desulfurization. Suitable for flue gas desulfurization of coking, waste incineration projects.
